Accountabilities:

Lead and oversee the delivery of complex real-world evidence and HEOR studies across pharmaceutical and biotech clients, ensuring scientific quality, client satisfaction, and commercial performance. Act as both project leader and strategic advisor across multiple engagements.

  • Manage end-to-end execution of real-world evidence studies, including observational research, retrospective analyses, and primary data collection.
  • Serve as primary client contact, providing scientific guidance, strategic recommendations, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring quality control, timely delivery, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Review and approve key deliverables including protocols, statistical analysis plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Lead client relationships, proactively managing expectations and identifying opportunities for expanded collaboration.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal development, sales support, and study design input.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure methodological rigor and operational excellence.
  • Manage team performance, mentoring staff and supporting professional development and staffing decisions.
  • Monitor project financials, ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines, and profitability targets.
  • Act as a thought leader in HEOR, supporting innovation in methods and analytical approaches.

Requirements

This role requires extensive experience in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related fields, combined with strong consulting and leadership capabilities. Candidates must be comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.

  • 8–10+ years of experience in HEOR, real-world evidence, or health services research, including at least 4 years in consulting.
  • Master’s degree in health economics, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related discipline (PhD preferred).
  • Strong experience managing observational studies, real-world data analyses, and primary research methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong client-facing experience with ability to act as a trusted scientific advisor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in business development, proposal writing, or supporting sales activities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis tools and research methodologies.
