This leadership role sits at the intersection of solution engineering, customer success, and technical strategy, driving how enterprise customers adopt and scale advanced communication and data solutions. You will lead a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers across North America, ensuring they deliver exceptional technical guidance, solution design, and pre- and post-sales support. The role is critical in shaping customer outcomes by translating complex technical capabilities into scalable, real-world solutions that align with business objectives. You will partner closely with sales leadership to accelerate acquisition, expansion, and retention while influencing product direction through customer insights. This is a highly visible position that blends people leadership, technical depth, and strategic execution in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You will also play a key role in strengthening cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
Accountabilities:- Lead, mentor, and scale the North American Solutions Engineering (Product Specialists) team, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture
- Define and execute technical pre-sales and post-sales strategies aligned with sales objectives and customer growth targets
- Oversee solution design, technical validation, and implementation strategy for complex enterprise customer engagements
- Act as a senior technical advisor and customer advocate, ensuring customer needs are reflected in product strategy and roadmap discussions
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a unified customer experience
- Drive technical excellence across the team by promoting continuous learning, innovation, and deep platform expertise
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with platform capabilities and customer requirements
- Influence strategic account planning and support executive-level customer engagements
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or solutions engineering roles
- At least 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical or pre-sales engineering teams
- Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud technologies, and data-driven platforms
- Proven success in pre-sales and/or post-sales technical environments supporting enterprise customers
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive stakeholders
- Excellent leadership skills with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams
- Strong customer focus with a track record of driving adoption, satisfaction, and long-term success
- Experience in CPaaS, UCaaS, or Customer Data Platform environments is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
