This pivotal role involves managing a team of highly skilled and experienced senior legal professionals and driving strategic legal support across a rapidly evolving line of products, to enable innovation and protect our users in line with Mozilla’s mission. This role will report to the Vice President, Legal.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What you’ll do:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Manage and foster the professional growth of a high-performing team of senior product and privacy professionals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Actively build strong relationships and cross-functional alignment on privacy and product issues, balancing legal risk, product goals, and user trust.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Be a trusted advisor to Mozilla’s leadership, including executives in Product, Engineering, Ads, Data, and Marketing.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate closely with colleagues on the Legal &amp; Policy teams on the intersection between our product and privacy work and our policy, competition, commercial, M&amp;A, and employment matters.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Set the strategic vision for the Product &amp; Privacy Legal teams, aligning legal support with Mozilla’s product and business priorities and scaling Mozilla’s privacy compliance program.&nbsp;</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Provide leadership in evaluating and improving legal processes and guidance related to product development and privacy operations.</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Be a mentor and role model, supporting the learning and professional development of all members of the Legal team as one of its senior leaders.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">What you’ll bring: </span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">J.D. degree and membership in a state bar with good standing</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">10+ years relevant experience, including being in-house at a technology company focused on counseling business clients through the product development lifecycle on product and privacy issues&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">5+ years experience as a people manager, with demonstrated ability to manage senior legal professionals with deep expertise and experience</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent collaborator who builds internal alignment across subject matter experts to deliver multifaceted legal advice regarding privacy, IP, consumer protection, security, commercial, and other legal issues</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to build deep, trust-based relationships and gain the confidence of senior leaders across the organization</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 10pt;">Skilled at navigating change and ambiguity, demonstrated ability to provide direction amidst evolving priorities&nbsp;</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;
