This role is designed for a strategic leader who will drive the vision, development, and performance of high-impact products. You will oversee the full product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization—ensuring offerings remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The position requires deep industry knowledge, analytical acumen, and hands-on leadership to influence cross-functional teams. You will manage and mentor a team of product managers and specialists, guiding innovation and accountability while collaborating closely with marketing, underwriting, regulatory, IT, sales, and operations teams. This is a fast-paced role demanding immediate impact, a focus on profitability, and proactive decision-making in a dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:

·        Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Product Managers and Specialists to drive innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

·        Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, design, launch, and optimization.

·        Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, underwriting, regulatory, IT, sales, and operations to align product strategy with organizational goals.

·        Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations across all product offerings.

·        Develop business cases, financial analysis, and pricing strategies for new products and enhancements.

·        Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform product decisions.

·        Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and make strategic recommendations to optimize profitability.

·        Lead regulatory filings, product-related strategy, and industry representation when necessary.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree in business, insurance, or related field preferred.

·        7+ years of product management experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably including Renters insurance.

·        Deep understanding of P&C insurance, product lifecycle, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

·        Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience developing high-performing teams.

·        Ability to work and influence in a matrix organization across multiple levels.

·        Broad business knowledge including finance, marketing, operations, underwriting, regulatory, technology, and legal.

·        Advanced financial modeling, strategic planning, and analytical skills.

·        Professional insurance designations (e.g., AINS, CPCU, ARM) or relevant licenses are a plus.
