About the role

  • In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our Vocational Case Management operations, ensuring full compliance with SSA Ticket to Work requirements while driving innovation and excellence in service delivery. You will develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that maximize participant engagement, staff performance, and program outcomes. The ideal candidate will mentor and inspire a high-performing team, streamline operational processes, and establish measurable benchmarks for success. This role requires a strategic, visionary leader who can balance regulatory compliance with creative, participant-centered approaches, foster cross-functional collaboration, and empower individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment, independence, and long-term career growth.

What you'll do

  • Drive a high-performance culture by mentoring, coaching, and inspiring team members to exceed goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Establish clear performance standards and hold teams accountable for achieving operational and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with SSA Ticket to Work program requirements through rigorous oversight and management.
  • Direct case management operations to guarantee timely, accurate, and comprehensive beneficiary documentation.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives by conducting audits, identifying gaps, and implementing continuous process improvements.
  • Design and optimize business processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and service excellence.
  • Oversee daily operations of the vocational services business line, including resource allocation, staffing, and budget management.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex cases, providing expert guidance on the TTW program and vocational strategies.
  • Champion participant engagement by developing innovative programs that improve retention and employment outcomes.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with internal teams, SSA representatives, employers, and community organizations to expand impact.
  • Represent AES as a thought leader at conferences, stakeholder meetings, and community events to elevate program visibility and influence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in the Ticket to Work Program, vocational case management, rehabilitation services, employment services for individuals with disabilities, or Social Security Disability programs.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SSA Ticket to Work program requirements and disability benefits.
  • Ability to balance regulatory compliance with innovative, participant-focused strategies.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, including tracking and analyzing performance metrics to improve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
