This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Strategic Accounts – (Federal) in the United States.

This role is a senior, high-impact enterprise sales position focused on driving strategic growth across Federal Civilian agencies. You will be responsible for positioning a leading endpoint management and security platform within complex government environments, engaging directly with senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders. Operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven field organization, you will own territory strategy, pipeline development, and executive-level relationships. The role blends consultative selling with deep technical understanding, requiring the ability to translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to shape opportunities and accelerate deal cycles. Success in this role means consistently exceeding quota while building long-term strategic customer relationships across the Federal landscape.


Accountabilities

Drive end-to-end strategic sales execution across assigned Federal Civilian accounts, developing new opportunities and expanding existing relationships within a complex enterprise environment.

  • Build and execute territory strategies to position platform value across Federal agencies, including Treasury, financial services, transportation, and other civilian organizations
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships, engaging CIOs, CISOs, VPs, and technical stakeholders to articulate business and technical value
  • Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and channel partners to generate pipeline and support prospecting initiatives
  • Manage full sales cycles, including forecasting, pipeline development, and CRM accuracy with strong discipline in opportunity tracking
  • Deliver executive presentations, webinars, and in-person briefings to generate demand and qualify opportunities
  • Collaborate across internal and partner ecosystems (FSIs, VARs, distributors) to accelerate deal progression and close complex transactions

Requirements

This role requires a seasoned enterprise sales professional with strong experience selling into Federal Civilian environments and a proven ability to close large, complex software deals in competitive markets.

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, including success in Federal Civilian government accounts
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Strong experience engaging and influencing C-level executives and senior government stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of Federal Civilian agencies and procurement environments
  • Ability to build pipeline through both direct prospecting and partner ecosystems
  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to communicate both business value and technical capabilities effectively
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills across executive and technical audiences
  • Highly collaborative mindset, comfortable working in cross-functional and partner-driven sales environments
  • Must be based in the DC Metro area
