Candid Health is seeking a dynamic sales leader with enterprise healthcare tech experience to lead a team of experienced enterprise AEs and help drive the growth of the business.  This is a high impact, high visibility role that is key to the success of the business and will have direct alignment with the Head of Sales and other members of the executive leadership team, including the CEO. 

What you’ll be doing

  • You will be responsible for shepherding the growth, development, and success of a team of experienced Account Executives at Candid.

  • You will oversee and be accountable for team KPIs, providing coaching/feedback when needed to ensure your team hits their quarterly and annual targets.

  • You will be directly involved in strategic deal execution, acting as the first escalation point and product SME to build confidence through knowledge for both AEs and their prospects. 

  • You will work closely with other key stakeholders at Candid, including the Head of Sales and CEO, navigating internal teams and leaders to get resources and support on strategic deals. 

  • You will partner closely with Recruiting in support of hiring initiatives to grow your team.

Who you are

  • You have experience in selling medical billing and/or working with CFOs, Revenue Cycle Leaders or Billing Managers.

  • You enjoy helping AEs develop strategy and execute on prospect meetings for high value deals. [Bonus points if you have done so as either an early member of a startup team, or in an adaptive growth-oriented role in a larger organization.] 

  • You enjoy working closely with AEs to help them grow their skills and advance their careers, as well as expand their knowledge of our product and industry.

  • You work well with key cross-functional leaders within the organization to get alignment and support in service of executing on key deals.

  • You are fundamentally low-ego, you care more about outcomes than inputs, and embody operational excellence in your approach.

  • In the ideal case, you have deep experience driving business development in the healthcare startup ecosystem, though deep domain experience is not a prerequisite for this role.

Pay Transparency

The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $400,000 OTE. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.  The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position will also include equity, and employee benefits. Given Candid Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
