We are currently seeking a Director of Personal Lines Insurance to lead our personal lines department. This strategic role will focus on developing and executing effective insurance strategies, managing team performance, and enhancing our client offerings.

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the personal lines department, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation, ensuring high-quality service deliver and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing personal lines team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to optimize product offerings and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report on departmental performance to Executive Leadership.
  • Develop training programs and materials to ensure staff is well-versed in personal lines products and services.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the insurance industry, particularly in personal lines.

Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to drive results through effective team management and client engagement.

Proficiency in insurance management systems and Microsoft Office.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional insurance designations (CIC, CPCU, etc.) preferred.
