You will play a critical role in driving performance outcomes, supporting hospital partnerships, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care services. The position requires strong executive presence, the ability to operate in complex healthcare environments, and a hands-on approach to relationship and program management. With frequent interaction across hospital leadership and physician groups, you will influence both strategic direction and day-to-day operational excellence. This is a highly visible role with significant travel and direct impact on patient care delivery systems nationwide.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the operational performance and management oversight of assigned hospital-based programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and partner expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital executives, clinical leaders, and community physicians to ensure collaboration and program success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations, renewals, financial discussions, and operational performance reviews within the assigned region.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including clinical leadership, recruiting, credentialing, HR, and scheduling to ensure seamless program operations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, executive business meetings, and operational check-ins with hospital partners to assess outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and implementation of new hospital programs in collaboration with internal deployment teams.
  • Identify operational risks, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee financial and operational performance of assigned programs, including review of billing structures, fee arrangements, and program economics.
  • Drive business development support activities, including expansion opportunities, proposal development, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Represent the organization in meetings with hospital leadership, physicians, and external stakeholders while reinforcing value proposition and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, medical services, or hospital-based program management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, hospital operations, and physician practice management (obstetrical experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and operate effectively in matrixed organizational environments.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, pricing structures, and program performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage hospital executives, physicians, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to navigate sensitive healthcare and client-facing situations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across assigned regions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with healthcare terminology and regulations.

Benefits

  • Competitive annual compensation ranging from $135,000 to $145,000 USD, plus eligibility for incentive programs.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and company holidays to support work-life balance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
  • Paid parental leave and family support benefits.
  • Employer-paid life insurance, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Mental health and employee assistance resources.
  • Legal support services and identity theft protection programs.
  • Employee referral bonuses and additional wellness benefits.
