This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Operations in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead operations across multiple ambulatory surgery centers, driving both strategic growth and operational excellence. The Director of Operations will partner with physician leaders and center administrators to optimize processes, enhance patient experiences, and ensure financial and clinical performance targets are met. With oversight of a multi-site portfolio, this position combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on management to deliver measurable impact across a dynamic healthcare environment. The role also focuses on mentoring teams, improving operational efficiency, and fostering collaboration to achieve sustainable growth.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead the execution of operational strategy for assigned surgery centers, supporting growth initiatives, service line expansion, and patient experience enhancements.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and governance, including board meetings, compliance, staffing models, and financial performance.
  • Manage and mentor Center Administrators, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivery of high-quality operations.
  • Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, marketing, business development, and other teams to drive operational success.
  • Monitor financial performance, P&L, and revenue cycle metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physician partners, health system stakeholders, and operational teams.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives to strengthen leadership pipelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of healthcare management experience, including oversight of multi-site operations and revenue of $40M+.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience with clinical operations, revenue cycle management, and outpatient specialty service lines preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategy, optimize processes, and improve patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with senior leadership, boards, and physician partners.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a focus on results and operational excellence.
