This role is a key leadership opportunity to shape and scale the marketing function of a fast-evolving workforce upskilling business focused on career mobility and outcomes-driven learning. You will be responsible for defining how the brand is positioned in the market while simultaneously building the demand engine that fuels growth across both B2C learners and B2B partners. Operating in a high-ambiguity, high-impact environment, you will help transform an emerging business into a clearly differentiated and trusted category leader. This position requires a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with the ability to move quickly, test ideas, and iterate based on results. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and cross-functional teams to align messaging, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy. The role offers significant ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to build foundational marketing systems from the ground up.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and evolve the brand positioning, narrative, messaging architecture, and voice to establish a clear and differentiated identity in the market, while ensuring separation from legacy offerings.
  • Build and execute integrated demand generation strategies across direct-to-consumer, B2B, and partner channels, driving awareness, pipeline, and revenue growth.
  • Design scalable go-to-market campaigns, content strategies, and lifecycle marketing programs that balance brand building with performance outcomes.
  • Lead marketing strategy development aligned with business goals, continuously testing, learning, and adapting based on market feedback and performance data.
  • Partner closely with Sales to align on ICPs, buyer journeys, enablement, and demand creation initiatives that directly support revenue performance.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team, establishing strong operating rhythms, execution standards, and a culture of ownership and speed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including leadership roles in high-growth, ambiguous environments, ideally involving brand transformation and demand generation.
  • Proven ability to build both brand positioning and scalable demand engines that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong experience operating across B2C and B2B marketing environments, including lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, and integrated campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Sales, Product, and other GTM teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset and bias for action.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment.
  • Experience managing and developing marketing teams in fast-paced, evolving organizations.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary range: 195,000 to 285,000 USD, depending on experience and location
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life, supplemental life, short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Mental health support and employee assistance resources
  • Parental leave and generous paid time off, including holidays
  • 401(k) plan with company matching contributions
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Flexible and remote-friendly work environment.
