In addition, this role leads a team of advanced planners that delivers financial planning, including training and oversight. </p></td></tr></tbody></table><p> </p><p> </p><table><tbody><tr><td width="623"><p><strong>Essential Job Functions for this role include:</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td width="623"><ul><li>Develop and maintain unified financial planning processes that drives efficiency for client service teams dedicated to UHNW clients at Mercer Advisors.</li><li>Oversee the day-to-day activities, training and developing members of the centralized Financial Planning Group.</li><li>Collect, codify, and disseminate best practices related to financial planning production.</li><li>Develop and maintain “playbook” on development and delivery of financial plans to create maximum efficiency and ease of delivery for client service.</li><li>Proactively modify internal systems to support and enhance the financial planning experience.</li><li>Lead and mentor team of planners on delivering financial plans, including overseeing day-to-day tasks, training, time management, coaching, and mentoring.</li><li>Cultivate superior relationships with wealth management team members in support of the financial planning process specific to UHNW clients.</li><li>Develop and maintain training programs for wealth management teams on how to deliver financial planning, and tools to use for effective delivery.</li><li>Stay informed of evolving industry trends, regulations, and planning issues, and communicate relevant changes to the organization.</li><li>Create visibility for Mercer Advisors regarding financial planning by producing collateral, being a thought leader within the company as well as in the industry.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><p> </p><table><tbody><tr><td width="623"><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td width="623"><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required</li><li>10+ years of successful experience in the financial services industry</li><li>CFP® (Certified Financial Planning) designation required. Additional credentials preferred.</li><li>Ability to create content and deliverables in high volume, fast-paced environments</li><li>Track record of success with ultra-high net worth clients and complex financial planning situations</li><li>Experience determining the needs of advisors, partners and prospects through investigative questions, offering solutions and asking for the right actions.</li><li>Proficiency in public speaking, to clients, prospective clients, and advisors, including large groups.</li><li>Successful track record of creating and implementing new programs and ideas across the organization.</li><li>Deep understanding of the financial planning profession and a forward-looking mindset </li><li>Skilled understanding of the business development environment, including channel partners</li><li>Comprehensive industry, financial planning, and investment management knowledge</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, listening and analytical skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, and exceptional follow through</li><li>Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint</li><li>Established and active industry network</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table><p> </p><table><tbody><tr><td width="623"><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td width="623"><p>This professional role requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.</p></td></tr></tbody></table><p> </p><table><tbody><tr><td width="623"><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td width="623"><p>Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation, no heavy lifting over 20 lbs.
