Director of Consumer Product

About the Role:

We’re seeking a results-driven product leader who can own and scale our consumer-facing product vision and strategy. This role will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in-app and across digital platforms to drive engagement and growth.  

As Director of Consumer Product, you’ll own the roadmap, define priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, engineering, and operations teams to bring ideas to life. You’ll also develop KPIs, track performance, and use data-driven insights to optimize and scale our product. This role requires a leader who simultaneously thrives at driving a vision while also independently delivering projects. 

The role will report to the VP of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Whisker Labs senior team to advance our commitment to delivering innovative, intuitive solutions that exceed customer expectations. Job Duties:

• Create and independently execute a vision and roadmap for consumer-facing products and features within the Ting App, web portal, subscription management, and more. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and UX/UI teams to create intuitive interfaces and bring product ideas to market. 
• Communicate technical requirements to engineering and operations teams and ensure smooth execution. 
• Lead consumer research and gather customer feedback to inform product development and refine strategies. 
• Establish and track KPIs to monitor product performance and inform decisions. 
• Oversee product budgets and allocate resources effectively. 
• Build and lead a high-performing product team over time.

Requirements: 

• 8+ years of consumer-facing product management experience at tech-driven companies. 
• Proven experience owning roadmaps, launching apps, and building subscription models. 
• Strong UI/UX sense with a focus on creating intuitive and visually compelling experiences. 
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build and lead teams as the organization grows.
