As a strategic leader within the People organization, the Director of Business Recruiting will drive the vision, execution, and continuous improvement of talent acquisition across key business functions. This role is responsible for building scalable hiring strategies, leading high-performing recruiting teams, and partnering with senior stakeholders to attract exceptional talent in competitive markets. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with a data-driven mindset, leveraging analytics, technology, and modern recruiting practices to deliver predictable hiring outcomes. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies across business functions including Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, People, and related teams.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders to develop workforce plans, hiring roadmaps, organizational growth strategies, and talent density initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on recruiting trends, labor market dynamics, compensation benchmarks, candidate expectations, and hiring best practices.
  • Own and continuously improve full-cycle recruiting processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, hiring quality, and an exceptional candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding.
  • Define, track, analyze, and communicate key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, diversity initiatives, and hiring efficiency.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruiting team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Strengthen employer branding efforts across business talent communities through networking, industry engagement, and strategic talent marketing initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and automation technologies across recruiting workflows, optimizing sourcing, screening, scheduling, assessment, and pipeline management processes.
  • Measure and improve the impact of recruiting programs on business growth, organizational health, recruiter productivity, and candidate satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including significant leadership responsibility and experience supporting business or go-to-market functions.
  • Proven expertise recruiting for Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Success, Partnerships, and other business-critical functions.
  • Demonstrated success building, leading, and scaling recruiting teams within high-growth, fast-paced organizations.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with experience leveraging recruiting metrics and workforce analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of modern talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning methodologies, and candidate engagement best practices.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies, including platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem, Metaview, Brighthire, Covey, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered recruiting solutions and the ability to integrate automation effectively while maintaining a human-centered hiring experience.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and executive partnership skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
