We believe in each other and recognize that every voice matters.</li></ul></div><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Director of Business Analytics</strong> to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business intelligence strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will be instrumental in supporting InStride Health’s mission by translating data into actionable insights that improve business operations, drive innovation, and enhance the patient experience. The Director of Business Analytics will oversee all aspects of data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization.</p><p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><strong>Develop and Lead BI Strategy</strong>: Establish and execute a business intelligence strategy that aligns with organizational goals, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.</li><li><strong>Data Analysis & Reporting</strong>: Oversee collection, analysis, and reporting of key business metrics to inform both short-term operations and long-term strategic planning.</li><li><strong>Data Governance</strong>: Contribute to data governance initiatives by ensuring data quality, standardization, security, and compliance across reporting and analytics processes. Collaborate with data stewards and cross-functional teams to implement data policies and best practices.</li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong>: Partner with various departments (e.g., clinical, operational, product, marketing) to gather data requirements, build BI dashboards and reports, and develop actionable insights that solve business challenges and improve patient outcomes.</li><li><strong>Advanced Modeling & Forecasting:</strong> Oversee predictive analytics initiatives and the development of forecasting models focused on demand modeling, capacity planning, and census growth.</li><li><strong>Data-Driven Decision Making</strong>: Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, providing data insights that drive decisions related to patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Manage and mentor the Business Intelligence team, providing leadership and fostering development to ensure a high-performing, collaborative team.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Communication</strong>: Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner that drives business change and decision-making.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong>: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by regularly assessing BI tools, technologies, and processes to ensure they remain cutting-edge and deliver maximum value.</li><li> </li></ul><p><strong>What You Need to Succeed in the Role</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>Proven success in developing and implementing BI strategies in fast-paced environments, aligning activities with strategic company goals, and providing executive-level insights that shape key business decisions and drive growth.</li><li>Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R and experience with BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Power BI), data visualization, and database management to effectively communicate complex data in simple, actionable formats.</li><li>Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Proven ability to inspire and manage a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights that influence decision-making and performance improvements.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Experience working in healthcare or a mission-driven organization is a plus.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The expected annual salary for this role is between $155,000-$185,000.
