We are looking for a skilled and proactive Director of Accounting to support the Corporate Controller in overseeing the company’s accounting operations. In this role, you will be a key partner in managing the accounting team, improving the close and reporting processes, addressing technical accounting matters, and driving post-acquisition integration efforts. You’ll play a hands-on role in both execution and leadership, helping to scale our accounting function in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
Partner with the Corporate Controller to lead and support the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closesÂ
Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement best practices to streamline the close and reporting processesÂ
Prepare, review, and support technical accounting memos and ensure compliance with US GAAPÂ
Support M&A activities, including purchase accounting, integration of acquired companies, and alignment of accounting policies and processesÂ
Collaborate with FP&A, tax, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives and financial reporting needsÂ
Assist in managing the external audit process and maintaining strong relationships with auditorsÂ
Support the development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reportingÂ
Mentor and help develop accounting team members, fostering growth and performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a combination of public accounting (Big 4 or large firm) and corporate accounting leadership rolesÂ
Strong technical accounting expertise and solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reportingÂ
Experience with M&A post-close integration and purchase accountingÂ
SEC experienceÂ
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsÂ
Experience with Sage Intacct and Netsuite is a plusÂ
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $178,150 - $201,759. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
