This high-impact leadership opportunity is designed for a strategic market access expert who thrives at the intersection of healthcare innovation, payer strategy, and commercial growth. As a senior individual contributor, you will shape reimbursement pathways and contracting models that accelerate adoption of advanced diagnostic solutions. The role offers enterprise-wide influence, partnering with executive stakeholders across finance, clinical, pricing, and commercial teams. You will translate market trends into actionable strategies, negotiate value-driven payer agreements, and support new product launches. Operating in a dynamic and mission-driven environment, you will help improve patient access while driving sustainable revenue outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded strategist ready to make measurable impact in digital health.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of payer strategies across Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, and employer segments to improve access, utilization, and revenue growth.
  • Design, negotiate, and execute innovative contracting models including value-based care agreements, outcomes-based arrangements, shared savings, subscription pricing, and bundled payment structures.
  • Conduct market intelligence, reimbursement trend analysis, and competitive assessments to guide pricing, positioning, and market access decisions.
  • Build financial models to evaluate contract economics, ROI, gross-to-net impact, margin performance, and risk-sharing scenarios.
  • Establish KPIs and performance dashboards to measure payer access, revenue impact, utilization trends, and clinical/economic outcomes.
  • Lead payer go-to-market planning for new diagnostic offerings, including pilots, launch readiness, and scale strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HEOR, clinical, legal, compliance, finance, and commercial teams to develop compelling payer value propositions.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with payer organizations while serving as a trusted reimbursement expert externally and internally.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic recommendations that influence enterprise planning, innovation priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, life sciences, public health, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MPH, MS, or equivalent).
  • 10–12+ years of progressive experience in payer strategy, market access, reimbursement, healthcare consulting, or related sectors.
  • Deep expertise in payer contracting, reimbursement strategy, and value-based care models across commercial and government payers.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, including pricing strategy and contract performance evaluation.
  • Proven ability to translate clinical evidence, HEOR data, and real-world outcomes into persuasive payer-facing value narratives.
  • Experience in diagnostics, MedTech, digital health, or healthcare innovation environments strongly preferred.
  • Clinical credentials such as PharmD or RN are advantageous but not required.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success operating independently in complex, matrixed, and fast-evolving environments.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to payer communications is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary estimated between $170,000 and $221,000 annually.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on day one.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan participation.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Paid parental leave programs.
  • Pet insurance discounts and lifestyle benefits.
  • Remote work flexibility within the United States.
  • Inclusive culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Career development opportunities within a rapidly growing healthcare technology environment.
