This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a next-generation FP&A function within a fast-scaling, technology-driven environment. Accountabilities:- Build and scale the FP&A function from the ground up, including planning cadence, reporting frameworks, and financial infrastructure
- Own budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning, implementing continuous and driver-based forecasting methodologies
- Develop and maintain financial models that support executive decision-making across pricing, hiring, and capital allocation
- Lead board-level reporting and investor communications, translating complex financial data into clear and actionable insights
- Implement and optimize modern FP&A tools, including system selection, data modeling, integrations, and deployment
- Design and manage the financial data layer, leveraging SQL and dashboards to ensure real-time, automated reporting
- Drive scenario planning capabilities to evaluate business impacts across multiple variables such as demand, pricing, and costs
- Integrate AI-driven workflows into FP&A processes, including variance analysis, forecasting automation, and reporting narratives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze unit economics, capacity planning, and strategic trade-offs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within high-growth or fintech environments
- Proven track record of building or transforming FP&A functions from scratch
- Hands-on experience implementing modern FP&A platforms such as Pigment, Runway, or Abacum
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to work directly with data warehouses and build reporting solutions
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Hex, or similar platforms
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance financial workflows, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and financial modeling capabilities
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into executive-level narratives
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach and comfort operating in ambiguity
