This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Launch Strategy in the United States.

This strategic leadership role is responsible for transforming how product and solution launches are designed, executed, and scaled across a global organization. The position focuses on building a standardized, high-impact launch operating system that improves readiness, accelerates execution, and strengthens cross-functional alignment. Working at the intersection of marketing operations, product, engineering, and sales, the role ensures every launch is structured, predictable, and optimized for market impact. It combines program leadership with strategic planning, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder management in a complex matrix environment. The role also plays a key part in leveraging modern tools, data, and AI-driven efficiencies to enhance launch quality and speed. This is a highly visible position that directly influences go-to-market success and organizational transformation.


Accountabilities:
  • Design and own a scalable global launch operating system, including governance frameworks, playbooks, and standardized processes to improve consistency, speed, and execution quality.
  • Lead end-to-end product and solution launch program management, coordinating integrated plans, dependencies, timelines, and cross-functional execution across multiple teams.
  • Define launch tiers, readiness criteria, and milestone frameworks to ensure structured planning, clear ownership, and reduced execution risk.
  • Develop reusable launch assets including templates, checklists, communication briefs, and readiness tools to streamline execution and increase operational efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Support to ensure coordinated launch readiness and execution.
  • Establish launch reporting frameworks, dashboards, and success metrics, while identifying risks early and driving mitigation strategies.
  • Lead post-launch reviews and retrospectives, using insights and data (including AI-enabled tools) to continuously improve launch effectiveness and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing operations, go-to-market strategy, product marketing operations, or related roles in SaaS or cloud environments.
  • Proven experience building or scaling launch processes, operating models, or go-to-market frameworks in complex organizations.
  • Strong program and project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading through matrixed, indirect management environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex initiatives into clear executive-level narratives and decisions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, operational discipline, and attention to detail with a focus on execution excellence.
  • Experience leveraging digital tools, automation, and AI to improve operational efficiency is highly valued.
