This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Deciphera Pharmaceuticals. We are currently looking for a Director, IT G&A Business Partner in Massachusetts (USA).

This role is ideal for a technology leader who thrives on building strong business partnerships and aligning IT solutions with strategic objectives across key corporate functions. The Director, IT G&A Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to teams in Finance, HR, Legal, Corporate Communications, and other G&A areas, facilitating innovation and driving the execution of technology initiatives. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in managing complex IT projects, ensuring smooth system transitions, and optimizing enterprise applications. The successful candidate will influence cross-functional teams, improve operational efficiency, and help guide the organization’s technology roadmap in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with G&A teams to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities for technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute IT strategies that align with organizational goals and prioritize technology initiatives.
  • Manage high-complexity projects and enterprise system initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and successful implementation.
  • Facilitate user adoption and smooth transitions as technology platforms evolve, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Track, report, and optimize the performance of IT initiatives, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure IT system security, reliability, and compliance.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to streamline data flow and enhance integration across G&A systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering technology services, ideally within pharma, life sciences, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change across G&A domains.
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, HCM/HRIS, ITSM, and familiarity with regulated environments (SOX, GxP, GDPR/CCPA).
  • Strong IT governance, compliance, and process improvement skills; ITIL knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to distill complex information for senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.
  • Strong collaboration, influence, and conflict resolution skills; able to drive alignment without direct authority.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (Oracle ERP, Workday, payroll, contract lifecycle management).
  • Knowledge of enterprise data management, analytics, and performance optimization.
