Director, Human Resources

This senior HR leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing people strategies that support a fast-paced, high-performance organization operating at scale. The position oversees core HR functions including employee relations, engagement, compensation, training, and talent management, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership while fostering a positive, compliant, and performance-driven workplace culture. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, requiring strong judgment in complex employee matters and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. It also plays a key role in strengthening engagement, improving retention, and enhancing the overall employee experience in a remote-first environment. Accountabilities:

Lead and manage employee relations activities, including complex investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management guidance for leaders.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies while mitigating organizational and legal risks.
Design, enhance, and deliver training programs to improve leadership capability, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Oversee compensation and benefits strategy recommendations to support attraction, retention, and performance motivation.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, onboarding improvements, and remote workforce engagement strategies.
Supervise HR team operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and alignment with business priorities.
Support recruiting processes by improving hiring practices, tracking staffing metrics, and partnering with managers on workforce needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
Proven experience as an HR leader or executive in a high-performance or fast-paced organization.
Strong expertise in employee relations, HR operations, and organizational development.
Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Experience managing or leading HR teams in remote or distributed environments is a plus.
