This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Global Commercial Partnerships (HEOR) in the United States.

This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving strategic growth within global pharmaceutical and life sciences accounts through health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) solutions. The position plays a critical role in expanding long-term client partnerships by identifying high-value opportunities and shaping tailored HEOR and market access strategies that address complex client challenges. Operating at the intersection of science, strategy, and commercial execution, the role is responsible for leading consultative engagement across key accounts and translating client needs into impactful solutions. It requires strong collaboration with technical experts, consulting teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated offerings. The environment is highly dynamic and client-facing, with a strong emphasis on strategic account development, pipeline ownership, and revenue growth. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader passionate about improving access to innovative therapies through evidence-based partnerships.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead strategic account planning across defined global target clients, driving revenue growth and achievement of commercial sales targets.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within HEOR and market access engagements through consultative selling approaches.
  • Manage end-to-end client engagement including outreach, relationship development, onboarding, and account expansion activities.
  • Own and maintain opportunity pipelines, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and progression toward closure.
  • Lead client negotiations, including MSAs, commercial terms, RFI responses, and strategic partnership discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal HEOR experts, consultants, and thought leaders to position tailored solutions addressing client needs.
  • Partner with marketing and business development teams to convert qualified leads into commercial opportunities.
  • Support development and execution of commercial and operational HEOR strategies across global accounts.
  • Contribute to the creation and optimization of systems, processes, and tools that enhance commercial efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide insight into client buying cycles, market dynamics, and account growth opportunities to inform strategy and prioritization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related discipline.
  • Strong experience in business development or sales within pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare consulting, with a focus on HEOR and/or market access.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic account development and consultative selling.
  • Deep understanding of HEOR, market access, and pharmaceutical commercialization processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate client needs into tailored solution offerings.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across internal and external environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and global client relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and inspire trust.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work across global time zones as required.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
