This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Finance – Office of the CFO in the United States.

This leadership role sits at the intersection of healthcare finance, analytics, and enterprise strategy, driving data-informed decision-making across a complex, high-impact organization. You will lead the development and execution of advanced analytics solutions that improve financial and operational performance, with a strong focus on net patient revenue optimization. Acting as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, you will translate complex healthcare and financial data into actionable insights that shape enterprise priorities. The role combines technical expertise, business acumen, and people leadership to scale analytics capabilities and drive continuous improvement. You will oversee cross-functional collaboration, ensuring data integrity, alignment, and usability across stakeholders. This is a highly visible position with responsibility for both strategic direction and hands-on leadership of analytics teams in a fast-evolving healthcare environment.


Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for leading enterprise analytics strategy within the finance function, ensuring data-driven insights support operational excellence and financial performance improvement. You will also guide teams, shape analytical frameworks, and influence executive decision-making across the organization.

  • Lead the design and delivery of data-driven analytics solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools to support financial and operational decision-making
  • Oversee enterprise initiatives focused on net patient revenue analytics, performance monitoring, and benchmarking
  • Partner with executive leadership and operational stakeholders to align analytics strategies with organizational priorities
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic and tactical business decisions
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration to integrate diverse data sources and ensure consistent reporting standards
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing analytics teams, including hiring, coaching, and succession planning
  • Establish governance, performance standards, and continuous improvement practices for analytics delivery

Requirements

This role requires deep expertise in healthcare analytics and financial leadership, along with strong executive presence and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. You should be comfortable leading teams while also operating in a hands-on, strategic advisory capacity.

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, financial performance, or operational analytics roles
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing analytics or finance teams
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement models, and revenue cycle operations
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms and tools such as Epic and Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization/reporting tools
  • Strong executive communication skills with ability to present complex insights clearly and persuasively
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI and advanced analytics to improve processes and decision-making
  • Preferred certifications such as CPA or CFA and experience in senior executive stakeholder engagement
