Director, Finance

This senior finance leadership role oversees the company’s financial operations and strategic planning to support high-growth scaling. The Director of Finance will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, guiding critical business decisions. This position balances hands-on operational oversight with strategic thinking, leading budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and accounting functions. You will implement scalable processes and controls to ensure financial rigor, compliance, and transparency while enabling agility and growth. The role requires a collaborative mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence across teams. • Lead company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis, supporting executive decision-making
• Drive capital planning, cash management, and runway modeling to support sustainable growth
• Develop and implement scalable financial processes, internal controls, and reporting cadence
• Oversee accounting operations, including external accounting partners, auditors, and tax providers
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to financial policies
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and operational teams
• Build financial fluency across the organization and act as a strategic business partner to the executive team

• 8–15+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or finance leadership roles
• Proven experience supporting high-growth or scaling companies, preferably in startup or scaleup environments
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills
• Experience overseeing accounting functions, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Exposure to fundraising, board reporting, and capital strategy is highly desirable
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure in fast-paced environments
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Competitive base salary in the range of $200,000–$250,000, depending on experience and location
