This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the organization’s credit program strategy, driving innovation and growth across multiple lending products. The Director of Credit Program Management will oversee the development and execution of advanced credit programs, integrating analytics, AI automation, and API tools to optimize program performance. You will partner with senior leadership and operational teams to enhance offerings, manage a team of program managers, and ensure programs align with organizational goals. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing, and collaborative environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the development of next-generation credit programs, including market segment identification, competitor analysis, credit rules, and scorecard integration.
  • Implement AI-driven solutions and API tools to improve program efficiency and performance.
  • Establish project management principles and frameworks for business requirement documentation.
  • Partner with operational departments (Sales, Credit, Funding, etc.) to enhance program offerings.
  • Manage and develop a team of program and market research managers.
  • Collaborate with senior executives across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Technology to drive strategic credit initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee ongoing program excellence to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Drive initiatives and continuous improvements using data-driven insights.
  • Maintain effective communication across multiple departments and stakeholders to achieve program objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in credit program development and management, including credit rule creation and implementation using advanced analytic models and technologies.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing teams.
  • Strong expertise in interpreting advanced analytics, machine learning models, and technology applications for program management.
  • Experience in gathering competitor intelligence and implementing credit risk policies and guidelines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
  • Background in auto finance preferred.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities; PMP® certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to drive program strategy, collaborate across departments, and deliver measurable results.
