This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving national corporate partnership growth within a mission-driven, fully remote organization. The Director, Corporate Development will be responsible for building and managing a strong pipeline of strategic corporate relationships, securing multi-million-dollar partnerships that directly support large-scale social impact initiatives. The role combines new business development, strategic sales leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to design and execute compelling partnership opportunities. Operating within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, this leader will engage senior executives, influence complex deal structures, and expand long-term revenue streams. The position also includes team management responsibilities and oversight of existing partner portfolios, ensuring both retention and growth of revenue. This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for purpose-driven work.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of national corporate partnership strategies to achieve significant annual revenue targets, including multi-million-dollar agreements
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and leveraging internal and external relationships
  • Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, proposal development, and deal closure with senior corporate stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to design integrated partnership solutions aligned with organizational mission and marketing priorities
  • Provide performance reporting, revenue forecasting, and strategic insights to senior leadership to support decision-making
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team responsible for both new business and existing partner accounts, ensuring strong execution and growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or complex B2B sales environments
  • Proven track record of securing and managing six- and seven-figure partnerships or revenue-generating deals
  • Strong experience in building and managing high-value sales pipelines and closing large strategic agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and corporate decision-makers
  • Excellent proposal development, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting capabilities with a results-driven mindset
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams, with strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25 percent or more depending on business needs
