About the role and why it’s unique:
- This role is responsible for creating and executing a clearly defined strategy to ensure we serve our users the right inventory at the right time
- Scaling and managing a team of content operations associates, the Director will act as the key subject matter expert on merchandizing our products/inventory in a data driven best-in-class manner
- Increasingly utilizing latest technologies to create a highly personalized user experience this role will be at the forefront of industry advancements
- This person will be responsible for owning the collaboration between Risk & Trading, Promotions, Product, Data, Technology and Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure seamless coordination and operational excellence
- This role requires both strategic thinking and operational execution, as well as leadership in managing and mentoring team members
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in a Content Operations leadership role
- A strategic thinker with experience creating and executing strategies that optimize content display and user journeys, ensuring seamless and timely delivery of relevant content
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to identify operational bottlenecks and work cross-functionally to resolve them
- Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to track KPIs, analyze user trends, and implement A/B testing to continuously refine strategies and improve user engagement
- An effective communicator and collaborator, working closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to influence roadmaps and drive data-backed product improvements
- A strong leader, capable of mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering growth while ensuring smooth operational execution and adherence to best practices
Even better if you have:
- Experience leading A/B and multivariate testing strategies to optimize content and user journey strategies
- Expertise in designing and streamlining operational processes and workflows, leveraging automation, AI tools, and data analytics for maximum efficiency
- Proven success in collaborating with senior leadership, offering data-backed insights, and aligning teams around strategic objectives
- A background in the fantasy sports or sports betting industries, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these markets
- Experience in building and scaling teams, focusing on attracting top talent and nurturing professional growth through mentorship and development
Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $190,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
