This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analytics, and oncology-focused market execution within a highly specialized life sciences environment. The position is responsible for shaping how data, insights, and omnichannel orchestration are leveraged to improve commercial performance and stakeholder engagement. It plays a key role in enabling business units and field teams with the tools, frameworks, and intelligence needed to drive better decisions and outcomes. Operating across marketing, medical affairs, sales operations, and technology functions, this role ensures alignment between data strategy and execution. Accountabilities:- Lead the commercial enablement strategy for the Oncology business, focusing on data, analytics, omnichannel orchestration, and workflow optimization.
- Develop and implement data and analytics initiatives supporting Marketing and Medical Affairs to improve targeting, measurement, and engagement effectiveness.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Analytics, Technology, and field leadership to align commercial data strategy and priorities.
- Own the Oncology commercial data ecosystem, including data quality, vendor relationships, and external datasets such as claims and market intelligence.
- Build and optimize omnichannel orchestration frameworks and standardize engagement processes across field and home-office teams.
- Drive AI-enabled workflow development, including next-best-action and decision-support capabilities for commercial teams.
- Establish governance models for data usage, KPIs, segmentation, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Translate business needs into scalable analytical and technological solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of experience in commercial operations, enablement, analytics, or commercial excellence, ideally in life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong experience in oncology or complex specialty business environments preferred.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise or business-unit-level initiatives involving data, analytics, and omnichannel engagement.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data sources, including claims data and third-party vendor ecosystems.
- Experience managing external vendors, data feeds, and data quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of segmentation, targeting, orchestration, and field/home-office coordination strategies.
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows, automation, or decision-support systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced degree preferred.
