This role sits at the intersection of oncology innovation, precision medicine, and global commercial strategy, focusing on enabling the successful launch and adoption of companion diagnostics that guide targeted cancer therapies. You will shape and execute global CDx commercialization strategies that ensure patients can be accurately identified for biomarker-driven treatments. The position plays a pivotal role in aligning diagnostic and therapeutic strategies across R&D, global brand teams, and regional stakeholders. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with laboratories, diagnostic manufacturers, and pathology experts to ensure seamless test availability and adoption. With a strong emphasis on market access and reimbursement, you will help expand global testing infrastructure and optimize patient identification pathways. This is a highly strategic, global-facing role with direct impact on the success of precision oncology programs.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design and execution of global commercial strategies for companion diagnostics aligned with precision oncology therapies, ensuring availability, access, and operational excellence across regions.
  • Evaluate diagnostic platforms and assays from a commercial perspective, contributing insights to R&D for registration-ready CDx development.
  • Develop and implement global CDx launch strategies, including partnerships with diagnostic manufacturers, laboratories, and key opinion leaders in pathology.
  • Collaborate closely with global brand, development, and regional teams to align CDx and therapeutic commercialization strategies and ensure synchronized market launches.
  • Drive market access initiatives, including payer engagement strategies and reimbursement support to expand global diagnostic adoption.
  • Define and track key performance indicators such as testing uptake, turnaround time, and operational effectiveness to measure success and optimize performance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across internal teams and ensure commercial diagnostic considerations are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostic industries with a strong focus on oncology and precision medicine.
  • Proven track record of leading successful global companion diagnostic launches, ideally in combination with oncology therapeutics.
  • Strong experience working across R&D, commercial, and market access functions in a global matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment in complex organizations.
  • Deep understanding of global and US healthcare environments, including regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement frameworks.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and ability to translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both scientific and business audiences effectively.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary range: $187,100 – $247,100 annually
  • Eligibility for annual bonus or incentive compensation plan depending on role type
  • Equity opportunities, including discretionary stock awards and employee stock purchase plan
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings plan (401k) with additional financial planning support
  • Flexible spending and health savings accounts (FSA/HSA) options
  • Paid time off and wellness programs to support work-life balance
  • Inclusive and equity-driven workplace culture focused on innovation and collaboration
