This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Client Experience (Pre-Sales Experience & Implementation) based in United States.

The Director, Client Experience (Pre-Sales Experience & Implementation) will lead the strategy connecting commercial teams with global operational execution.
This executive role is responsible for designing scalable frameworks that ensure client expectations, operational capabilities, and service delivery are aligned from early sales conversations through successful implementation.
The position requires a strategic leader who can influence senior stakeholders, drive cross-functional collaboration, and create processes that accelerate customer value.
You will play a key role in transforming pre-sales operations into a competitive advantage by improving onboarding experiences, reducing friction, and protecting operational scalability.
The ideal candidate combines customer experience expertise, operational leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate complex global environments.

Accountabilities:

The Director will own the global pre-sales and implementation strategy, ensuring that operational teams and commercial stakeholders work together effectively to deliver exceptional client experiences. This role will establish governance models, optimize processes, and create measurable frameworks to improve value realization throughout the client lifecycle.

  • Lead the global pre-sales and onboarding strategy, ensuring operational capabilities are accurately positioned, scoped, and delivered throughout the customer journey.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team responsible for pre-sales solutions and client implementation activities.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to embed operational expertise into strategic sales opportunities and enterprise-level client engagements.
  • Establish governance standards, rules of engagement, and operating models that align sales commitments with delivery capabilities.
  • Act as the executive operational partner for complex opportunities, RFPs, and global go-to-market initiatives.
  • Drive improvements that reduce implementation timelines and accelerate customer time-to-value after contract signature.
  • Develop standardized approaches for service offerings, tier structures, and implementation frameworks to simplify customer experiences.
  • Create data-driven reporting strategies to measure onboarding performance, launch velocity, operational capacity, and customer outcomes.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators related to pre-sales effectiveness, implementation success, and service delivery quality.
  • Analyze customer feedback, operational data, and market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support commercial teams with enablement materials and insights to ensure accurate communication of operational capabilities.
  • Protect operational scalability by identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and guiding stakeholders toward sustainable solutions.
  • Build strong relationships across global teams and provide executive-level communication, alignment, and decision support.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced client experience and operations leader with a strong background in strategic implementation, revenue operations, and cross-functional transformation within complex organizations.

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in Client Experience, Revenue Operations, Global Implementation, Technical Onboarding, or related areas.
  • Experience leading global or multi-regional teams and managing complex initiatives across different markets and business functions.
  • Strong background in customer journey design, operational strategy, and enterprise implementation processes.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior commercial leaders and influence decision-making without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience using data, business intelligence, and metrics to guide strategic decisions.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify risks, and create practical solutions in fast-changing environments.
  • Experience defining KPIs, operational frameworks, and value realization models.
  • Strategic mindset with strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to balance customer needs with operational constraints.
  • Experience working within technology, SaaS, travel, or other complex service-driven environments is preferred.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
