This role is a senior leadership position focused on transforming complex healthcare and pharmacy data into actionable insights that drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and client success. The Director will set the vision for analytics across a diverse client portfolio, guiding a team of analysts to deliver executive-ready insights and scalable frameworks for decision-making. This position requires strategic thinking, hands-on data expertise, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to embed analytics into business strategy. Accountabilities
- Lead the strategy and execution of opportunity analyses to identify growth levers, margin optimization, and strategic service expansion.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Client Development, Client Services, Finance, Clinical, and IT/Product to embed analytics into strategic planning and execution.
- Translate complex pharmacy, clinical, and financial data into actionable insights, dashboards, presentations, and executive-ready deliverables.
- Develop flexible, complex data models and business cases to quantify the financial and clinical impact of initiatives, service lines, and program expansions.
- Establish analytics frameworks to integrate operational, financial, and clinical data for ongoing performance monitoring and improvement.
- Leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools to enable real-time decision-making and scenario planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and internal leadership, using data to influence strategy, identify risks, and uncover business opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering technical expertise, strategic thinking, and client-focused execution.
- Stay up-to-date on specialty pharmacy trends, data environments, and relevant regulatory programs to ensure analytic approaches are current and compliant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Pharmacy, Business, or a related discipline; MS, MBA, or PharmD is a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or pharmacy analytics, demonstrating measurable impact on strategic decision-making.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing analytics or strategy teams.
- Proven experience in client-facing or consultative roles, translating complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, revenue cycle, and claims data; knowledge of the 340B program is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex data for diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, fostering growth in both technical and strategic domains.
