This role is designed for a seasoned business development professional with deep expertise in the medical device industry. The Director will lead strategic efforts to identify, qualify, and secure new customer opportunities with OEMs, driving revenue growth and market expansion. The position emphasizes building strong client relationships, managing complex sales cycles, and aligning solutions with customer product roadmaps and business strategies. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver value-driven solutions while maintaining a competitive edge in the marketplace. • Drive new business development and revenue growth in the U.S. medical device OEM market
• Qualify and manage high-potential customer accounts, generating a robust and actionable pipeline
• Negotiate and secure contracts for medical device manufacturing and assembly services
• Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with customer product plans and business objectives
• Build strategic alliances with key B2B customers and maintain strong, long-term relationships
• Serve as a trusted point of contact to showcase capabilities and provide thought leadership
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ISO requirements, and industry best practices
• Influence and advise senior management on account strategy, talent acquisition, and operational improvements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business development or account management within the medical device sector
• Proven track record of generating and closing deals exceeding $25 million USD
• Extensive network of relationships with key stakeholders at top OEMs in the U.S. medical device market
• Technical expertise and commercial insight in areas such as cardiovascular, neuro, diabetes, minimally invasive surgical systems, hearing and vision, and wound care
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or business; advanced degree preferred
• Strong negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills
• Experience in EMS, CMO, or engineering business environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and executive-level clients
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required
