This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Business Development & Sales in the United States.

This role is a senior leadership position focused on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic relationships within the healthcare and medical technology sector. The Director will lead all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting and presenting to negotiating and closing deals, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategy, identify new business opportunities, and act as a trusted partner to key decision-makers across the industry. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and hands-on leadership in a dynamic, results-driven environment. Success in this role will be measured by achieving sales targets, growing market share, and strengthening customer relationships.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market share.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue target accounts, leveraging market research and analysis to guide efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, physicians, and administrators.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and secure profitable deals aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales collateral and messaging.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand presence.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and documentation as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, buying processes, and market dynamics.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to drive business growth.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and attend industry events.
