Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Director of Brand Partnerships to join our Sales & Marketing team. This person will drive sponsorship and advertising revenue across PFF’s owned and operated media channels—including audio, video, editorial, social media, and digital products—as well as build long-term brand relationships that extend beyond traditional ad sales.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in sports, entertainment, or digital media sales, along with strong industry relationships and a deep understanding of how brands want to integrate with premium content and data-driven experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals across PFF’s media and digital platforms.
- Build, pitch, and close brand partnership deals that span advertising, sponsorships, branded content, and platform integrations.
- Identify and pursue new brand and agency prospects while maintaining a strong pipeline of active opportunities.
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and multi-platform deals.
- Package and sell inventory across podcasts, YouTube shows, editorial franchises, social media, newsletters, and digital products.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Content, and Design teams to develop compelling sales packages and proposals.
- Lead campaign execution in coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery for partners.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities in the sports and media landscape.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and reporting within CRM tools.
- Analyze campaign performance and deliver insights to clients and internal stakeholders to improve outcomes and retention.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in brand partnerships, integrated media sales, or sponsorship sales (ideally in sports, media, or entertainment).
- Proven success securing deals with brands, agencies, or media buyers.
- Deep understanding of digital and social media platforms; experience with programmatic, video, and content sponsorships preferred.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
- Highly collaborative and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), presentation software, and campaign analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
