Job Summary:

We are hiring a DEXA Supervisor to oversee our bone densitometry imaging operations. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient workflow. The DEXA Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of technologists, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and assisting with patient services.


What You’ll Do:

Supervision: With assistance from the Head of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer, the DEXA supervisor will oversee and manage daily operations of the DEXA department and staff supervision.

Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of imaging quality, safety, and accuracy in compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including radiation safety protocols and HIPAA requirements.

Staff Management: With assistance from the Head of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer, train, mentor, and evaluate DEXA technologists, ensuring ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of DEXA equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades as needed.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of patient scans, reports, and quality control measures.

Policy Development: With assistance from the Head of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer, assist in developing and updating policies and procedures related to DEXA imaging.

Monthly Check-Ins: Attend monthly meetings with the Chief Medical Officer to review adverse events, staffing updates, and workflow changes


What You Bring:

Education: Completion of an accredited program, college, or university that qualifies for the use of DEXA scanning technology.

Certification:

ARRT (BD) certification

California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License 

Supervisor and Operator Certificate

$100 - $200 an hour
