The DevOps Engineer III works in a multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS using technologies such as Github, Github Actions, Kubernetes/EKS, Serverless, Snowflake/Looker, IaC, and Cloud Security. As an individual contributor, the DevOps Engineer reports to the DevOps manager and collaborates with other teams to implement DevOps best practices. This role is critical in PriceSpider DevOps and Cloud transformation journey, building sustainable tools and procedures for efficient software development and deployment. Essential Function & Responsibilities:<span data-ccp-charstyle="eop" data-ccp-charstyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"920dbcde-2834-5e15-a5fa-062170b236ba|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",469777841,"Calibri",469777842,"",469777843,"Calibri",469777844,"Calibri",201341986,"1",469769226,"Calibri",268442635,"22",469775450,"eop",201340122,"1",134233614,"true",469778129,"eop",335572020,"1",469778324,"Default Paragraph Font"]}">  <ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure using Terraform. </li><li>Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions. </li><li>Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across the infrastructure. </li><li>Identify and automate repetitive tasks and requests to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. </li><li>Collaborate with global engineering teams to share knowledge and skills. </li><li>Conduct cost reviews of existing cloud resources and assess opportunities to optimize costs and infrastructure footprint. </li><li>Plan and execute initiatives to upgrade and scale systems, improving capacity, availability, reliability, and performance. </li><li>Provide operational support for all environments, including participation in a rotating On-Call schedule. </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:  <ul><li>7-8 years of experience working with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, and Azure </li><li>5-7 years of hands-on experience with container orchestration, performance tuning, and optimization using Docker and Kubernetes in multi-cloud production environments </li><li>Expertise in designing and implementing security and compliance best practices across all aspects of a global cloud infrastructure, including CICD, Docker, VPCs, Kubernetes/EKS, RDBMS/RDS, Redis/ElastiCache, S3, and other relevant technologies. </li><li>Proficiency in writing administrative scripts using Bash, Python, or similar languages </li><li>Exceptional troubleshooting skills using observability tools such as DataDog, ELK (ElasticSearch, LogStash, Grafana), Prometheus, and others in complex cloud-based environments. </li><li>Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, secrets management, Git (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, GitHub Actions), and AWS services and technologies. </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li></ul>Benefits:PriceSpider encourages a healthy work-life balance and commitment to employee wellbeing. Remote work allowed. This is a remote position. Compensation:The base salary for this role is $100,000 - $140,000.
