About the role

As a DevOps Engineer Auxo, your responsibilities encompass supporting developers in building a strong infrastructure and automating as much of the systems as possible. Your role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, including UX/UI designers, application engineers, technical project managers, and development teams. The primary objective is to guarantee the delivery of top-tier applications that consistently exceed customer expectations.


What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the project team to build and implement new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Develop ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Partner with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
  • Plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.
  • Utilize Terraform or similar technology to develop systems that can be easily promoted to various environments.
  • Propose and present solution recommendations, offering technical guidance to project teams.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continually enhancing skills to contribute to project success.

Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience, along with an Associates' or Bachelors' degree in a related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines, e.g., Azure Pipelines.
  • Experience coding in one common language like Python, Java, Javascript, C# or similar.
  • Strong understanding of identity federation, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and related authentication protocols.
  • Experience working with AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • Experience working with Serverless systems leveraging Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar
  • Experience developing with Terraform or similar infrastructure as code.
  • Insurtech and/or Fintech experience is highly desirable.

  • The position is expected to last ~4 months, with opportunities to extend long-term.
  • Auxo Solutions is a remote-first team, however Engineers may be asked to travel to client sites infrequently.
  • The interview process may include live coding exams, presentations, etc.
  • Successful candidate must pass a thorough background check, including employment and education verifications.
