What you'll do:

        Manage and optimize the company’s AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.

        Collaborate with engineering and IT to automate, monitor and maintain cloud environments while ensuring scalability, reliability and security.

        Identify manual processes to be automated, set up CI/CD pipeline, and streamline deployments to improve efficiency and create consistency.

        Perform routine system updates and patches, ensuring compliance with security best practices.

        Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to track system health and performance as well as to ensure cost management.

        Troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure including triage, diagnosis, resolution, and review of root cause analysis with clients.

        Implement disaster recover strategies and backup solutions. Stay abreast of LMS system technical releases and work with engineering team on concerns.

        Stay updated and train other Technical Innovation Department team members on industry trends, cloud technologies, and best practices.

        Assist internally and directly with clients on business explanations of DevOps in general for greater overall understanding and support of the eSkillz processes.

        Investigate, research tool and system options, and set a plan for DevOps optimization including potentially leading the streamlining down to one DevOps platform in the future.

        Assist with audit questionnaires, policy writing, and process building as needed to obtain and maintain company security and other certifications.

        Collaborate with the team to balance iterative development needs understanding the first product is not always the final product and that each client’s needs are unique.


What you'll need:

        Positive attitude and willingness to be a part of an evolving and growing team!

        Leadership skills and a commitment to take ownership of all things DevOps.

        At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role.

        Experience working with AWS, Azure, GitHub and/or other similar DevOps and development version control systems.

        Proficiency in CI/CD tools and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.

        Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch).

        Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

        Must be in the United States.

Bonus points if you have:

        Have C# and .NET experience

        Have experience working with Learning Management Systems, particularly Cornerstone or Docebo.

        Have experience with ISO 27001:2022 certification.
