Development Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape high-performing software development teams in a dynamic, innovative environment. The Development Manager will oversee multiple globally distributed teams, guiding the delivery of SaaS and cloud-based applications while ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, including mentoring team members, streamlining processes, and collaborating across product, operations, and support functions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, Agile development practices, and cloud technologies, and will play a key role in driving technical innovation, improving product quality, and supporting business growth.

• Hire, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent, managing distributed development and testing teams.
• Lead software development teams through the full lifecycle of projects, from inception to product rollout.
• Set team expectations and goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee technical execution including front-end and back-end development, REST APIs, microservices, web apps, and infrastructure components.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Continuously improve team productivity, efficiency, and overall software quality with a focus on automation and operational excellence.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and customer support as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing software in an Agile environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex software development projects and delivering high-quality SaaS/cloud applications.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience as a lead developer or architect, preferably with .NET stack, Azure ecosystem, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git Repos, and automated testing practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills, with experience managing multi-timezone teams.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and performance management of technical staff.
