Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional Design Engineer to join Glue's design team at a pivotal growth stage. In this role, you'll take ownership of our marketing website and email ecosystem, driving strategy, content and execution. Partnering with our leadership and go-to-market teams, you'll develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap for website features and content while crafting engaging transactional and marketing email templates that reflect our brand.

Beyond owning the website and email ecosystem, as an integral member of the design team you'll collaborate closely with the Head of Design and product designers to bring our design system to life. You'll leverage rapid prototyping techniques and AI tools to iterate on concepts, creating innovative solutions that effectively communicate Glue's value proposition.

You are the ideal candidate if you have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding communication and writing abilities, and a versatile skill set spanning both design and development. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise and creative vision directly impact Glue’s growth.

• Have 4+ years of experience in front-end development 
• Are proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in Figma
• Have experience with modern static site frameworks or tools like Webflow and Framer
• Possess strong design sensibilities and can translate concepts into responsive, accessible code
• Have strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling copy for various digital touchpoints
• Have experience writing and editing web content that balances brand voice with clarity and conversion optimization
• Have experience managing and optimizing website content and email campaigns
• Demonstrate a portfolio showcasing both technical skills and high-quality design thinking
• Are detail-oriented with a passion for creating polished digital experiences 
• Can work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Stay current with emerging technologies and design trends in the digital space
• Have experience with design systems and component-based development
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Benefits

The pay range of base compensation for this role is typically $160,000 - $200,000.

This is an early role, but we’re offering competitive salary in addition to significant equity, a healthcare package, and whatever equipment you need to excel at your job.
