Deputy Executive Director

Accountabilities:

Lead and support fundraising efforts across multiple streams, including grants, individual giving, donor engagement, and recurring contributions, with responsibility for helping achieve annual funding goals.
Partner with senior leadership to ensure program excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment between strategic objectives and execution.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community supporters, to expand organizational reach and impact.
Oversee systems for tracking performance, evaluating program outcomes, and communicating results to internal and external audiences.
Contribute to leadership coordination across finance, communications, and operational planning in a fully remote, volunteer-driven structure.
Support the development of scalable processes that enhance organizational sustainability and mission delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder or relationship management within mission-driven or nonprofit environments.
At least 1 year of management experience with demonstrated success in designing or executing fundraising programs.
Strong background in fundraising, including engagement with donors, foundations, or grant-based funding models.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to set priorities and drive strategic objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Data-driven mindset with experience in program evaluation and performance tracking.
Collaborative, adaptable, and entrepreneurial approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
