Job Title: Delivery Lead / Technical Program Manager – Data & AI
Location: Charlotte, NC /Fort Mill, SC/ New Jersey
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Lead / Technical Program Manager – Data & AI to lead large-scale data transformation and AI initiatives. This role will drive end-to-end program delivery across Data Engineering, Analytics, and Generative AI solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS Glue, ETL/ELT frameworks, and Generative AI (Gen AI), along with proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex enterprise programs.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data & AI programs across multiple workstreams.
- Own program planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and financial tracking.
- Drive roadmap execution aligned with business strategy and data modernization initiatives.
- Manage distributed teams including Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Architects, and Analysts.
- Ensure adherence to Agile / SAFe / hybrid delivery methodologies.
Technical Oversight
- Provide architectural guidance for cloud-native data platforms using Snowflake and AWS Glue.
- Oversee design and implementation of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure best practices in data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Lead integration of Generative AI use cases including LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, and AI automation solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure compliance and data protection standards.
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Data & AI solutions.
- Present executive-level updates, dashboards, and risk mitigation plans.
- Drive value realization and measurable business outcomes from data investments.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Good hands-on understanding of Snowflake architecture, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Expertise in AWS Glue for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Deep knowledge of ETL & ELT frameworks, data pipeline design, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Step Functions).
- Experience delivering Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions, including LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and AI governance.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
Program Management Skills
- 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in Technical Program Management / Delivery Leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar enterprise data programs.
- Strong risk management, budgeting, and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building AI-driven automation and analytics platforms.
- Background in Banking, Asset Management, Capital Market & Wealth Management, or enterprise digital transformation programs is a plus.
