Summary

As Delivery Lead at City IT within our Digital Domain, you will be responsible for ensuring critical IT solutions are delivered in collaboration with our highly skilled domain teams and stakeholders across the wider business.

 

You will be the right-hand person to senior leadership in the Digital Domain, responsible for driving team performance and ensuring a smooth workflow from start to finish. You will work closely with leadership, including the Development Operations Manager, the Global Head of Digital Domain, and the Head of Digital Domain North America, in governance meetings to track project progress, manage blockers, and deliver status updates.

 

The Delivery Lead will proactively encourage sustained continuous improvement, facilitate close engagement between teams and business stakeholders, ensure a shared understanding of project statuses, and foster a collective approach to overcoming obstacles.


Essential Job Functions:
  • Coordinate and manage delivery plans for a range of software solutions, working within cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, and business analysts
  • Monitor the progress of delivery, identify and anticipate blockers, manage risks, and ensure timely project completion
  • Provide regular updates in governance meetings and leadership forums (with the Development Operations Manager, Global Head of Digital Domain, and Head of Digital Domain North America)
  • Drive continuous improvement within Global Delivery teams, fostering a culture of open feedback and collaboration
  • Support delivery maturity within the organization by enhancing best practices and contributing to a Community of Practice


Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or related fields, overseeing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining effective stakeholder communication and risk management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Experience delivering IT solutions across the full software development life cycle, including the transition of working software into service
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience with scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Strong communication skills, capable of building relationships with both team members and senior leadership, while clearly and effectively managing project expectations
  • Ability to influence and implement process changes across various teams and stakeholder groups
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint


Desired Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in Ecommerce, Wholesale, or Retail, particularly with projects involving digital signage and e-commerce systems (e.g., digital signage solutions in 500+ branches across North America)
  • Ability to work closely with senior leaders and project stakeholders to define and execute project delivery strategies

  • 30-minute Microsoft Teams call with the hiring manager 
  • 1-hour Microsoft Teams call with one of our Delivery Directors and a members of our Delivery Practice

Location:
  • This role is predominantly home based however you may need to travel to US Offices (Dallas) on occasion.


$120,000 - $150,000 a year
