Accountabilities:

Lead the design, development, and scaling of a modern data platform that supports analytics, reporting, governance, and AI readiness across the organization.

  • Own the Data Governance & Accessibility program, including standards for data quality, lineage, and access management.
  • Design scalable data architecture, ingestion frameworks, and transformation pipelines across multiple business systems.
  • Improve pipeline reliability through monitoring, alerting, observability, and performance optimization.
  • Build and maintain certified datasets and reusable data models that support enterprise analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to improve data accessibility and self-service capabilities.
  • Mentor and guide a small data engineering team through technical reviews, prioritization, and delivery planning.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify data gaps and implement scalable integration solutions across platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, documentation, and operational processes.

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform/data infrastructure roles.

  • Proven experience designing and scaling data pipelines and distributed data systems in cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise with modern data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation frameworks, and orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata management, and lineage tracking.
  • Experience integrating multiple enterprise SaaS systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, support, marketing platforms) into centralized data models.
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor engineers while driving technical execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and market benchmarks ($150,000–$170,000 range)
  • Equity opportunities (ISOs) and performance-based compensation structure
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
  • Paid time off and flexible remote-first work environment
  • Professional development and continuous learning support
  • Inclusive, remote-first culture with regular in-person company gatherings
  • Exposure to AI-driven analytics initiatives and advanced data platform modernization
  • Strong focus on engineering ownership, autonomy, and technical impact
