This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Architect in the United States.

The Data Architect will play a strategic role in shaping enterprise data governance, architecture, and compliance frameworks, ensuring high-quality, secure, and well-managed data assets. You will lead initiatives that define data standards, policies, and processes while serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role involves designing and implementing data governance frameworks, improving data quality, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. You will also guide cross-functional teams, influence organizational change, and provide consultative support on large-scale data projects. The position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on data management and decision-making across the enterprise.

Accountabilities

·         Establish and govern an enterprise data governance roadmap, including strategic priorities for information capabilities and service migrations.

·         Implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks to improve data quality and protect sensitive information through updated policies, standards, metrics, processes, tools, and architecture.

·         Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability for stewardship of principal information assets.

·         Serve as a liaison between business, functional areas, and technology teams to ensure data-related requirements align with federal standards.

·         Maintain inventories of enterprise information maps, authoritative systems, and data owners.

·         Develop and enforce data quality standards, protection policies, and adoption requirements across the enterprise.

·         Define and monitor performance indicators and compliance metrics for data governance initiatives.

·         Provide management with progress reports and oversee updates to the enterprise data governance roadmap.

·         Coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and ensure data consistency.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Management, or equivalent professional experience.

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in a large-scale services organization with project management and oversight responsibilities.

·         3+ years of experience as a Data Architect with experience leading transformation initiatives.

·         Strong knowledge of industry-leading data quality, data protection, and governance practices.

·         Understanding of federal regulatory requirements, emerging trends, and compliance frameworks.

·         Demonstrated consulting, change management, and communication skills.

·         Expertise in risk data architecture, technology solutions, and enterprise data strategy.

·         Proven ability to influence organizational practices and act as a subject matter expert.

·         Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud data solutions.

·         Strong leadership, integrity, and results-oriented mindset.

·         Ability to manage senior relationships, resolve conflicts, and collaborate effectively across teams.

·         Competitive salary range: $93,000–$133,000, determined by experience, skills, certifications, and other factors.
