Who you are:
You’re the person who actually enjoys the "puzzle" of data. While others are out chasing the latest "shiny object" tool, you’re in the trenches making sure the data actually works. You understand that a company of our size needs accurate, actionable data.

We’re looking for a thorough, pragmatic, and action-oriented person. You aren't just here to write code; you're here to solve problems. You’re motivated by the "lightbulb moment" when a business user finally understands a report because you spent the time to profile, clean, and model it into something beautiful.

You’re a "forever student." You’re the type of person who stays curious, iterates fast, and isn't afraid to put in the focused time required to master a new skill. We’re a team of high-performers who believe in hard work worth doing, and we’re looking for a partner who wants to build something that lasts.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–6 years of experience focused on data engineering or analytics.
  • Proven experience diving deep into disparate data sources to perform cleaning, normalization, and complex data modeling. You should be able to explain why you chose a specific model for a specific business problem.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation. You should be comfortable writing code that automates the "grunt work" of data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
  • A track record of being action-oriented. You prefer a working solution shipped to production this week over a perfect "theoretical" solution next month.
  • A technical curiosity. You don’t need to know everything but you must have the hunger to learn and apply new knowledge to your daily workflow.
  • Strong and effective communication skills. The ability to translate "data speak" into "business speak" for non-technical teammates.

Bonus Points For:

  • A background in a startup environment where you had to be a "generalist" in the data & analytics stack.
  • Experience with dbt, SQLMesh, or similar modern transformation tooling.

Where You’ll Be:

We offer flexibility! This is a remote role, but you must be based within the US. Due to Data & Analytics team location there is a strong preference for EST hours.

What’s in it for You:

You won’t just be a cog in a machine; you are helping to build the engine. You will see your work directly impact our company’s ability to hit our growth milestones.

  • Real Ownership: You aren’t just a ticket-taker. You’re a foundational member of the team helping us architect our future.
  • No Ego environment.  If you have a better way to do something, we want to hear it.
  • Great Humans: You’ll work with a team that is deeply committed and genuinely enjoys building our dynamic, diverse, and collaborative work environment.
