This role sits at the core of revenue strategy, transforming complex sales and operational data into clear, actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency. You will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and leadership teams to improve forecasting accuracy, optimize funnel performance, and strengthen data-driven decision-making. The position requires a strong technical foundation combined with business acumen, enabling you to translate raw data into meaningful narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Accountabilities:- Own and execute end-to-end revenue analytics, translating business questions into scalable, reproducible insights that support Sales and Revenue Operations decision-making. Build, maintain, and optimize data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and revenue performance.
- Develop advanced SQL queries and data models to investigate complex data issues, ensure data integrity, and support deep-dive analysis across CRM and warehouse systems.
- Build forecasting, scenario planning, and performance models using Excel or Google Sheets to support strategic revenue planning and operational decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, RevOps, and leadership to define KPIs, improve data visibility, and align reporting with business priorities.
- Design and maintain BI dashboards and self-service analytics tools using platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
- Leverage AI tools and modern data workflows to accelerate analysis, improve accuracy, and streamline reporting processes.
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex findings into actionable business recommendations.
Requirements:
This role requires strong analytical expertise combined with hands-on technical capability in data systems, CRM platforms, and revenue analytics environments. You should be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth technology settings and collaborating closely with revenue teams.
- 5+ years of experience in a data-focused analyst role within a technology company, ideally supporting Sales or Revenue Operations functions.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to independently build queries, debug complex datasets, and create reliable data models.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data structures, reporting logic, and CRM data hygiene practices.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms for dashboarding and analytics delivery.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Claude or similar) into analytical workflows to improve speed and output quality.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data insights for diverse audiences.
- Nice to have: experience with GitHub for version control and documentation, and scripting in Python or R for reproducible analytics workflows.
