This role sits within a high-volume, mission-driven customer support environment focused on assisting Medicaid providers and clients with critical program-related inquiries. You will be responsible for delivering clear, accurate, and timely support on topics such as eligibility, claims status, and service navigation. Acting as a key point of contact, you will help resolve issues efficiently while ensuring a high standard of customer experience. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple interactions in a structured call center setting. You will also play a role in documenting interactions accurately and escalating cases when needed. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where consistency, empathy, and precision directly impact service quality.


Accountabilities:
  • Respond to inbound calls from Medicaid providers and clients, providing accurate information on eligibility, claims status, and program inquiries
  • Assist with issue resolution and escalate cases when necessary to ensure timely and effective outcomes
  • Document all customer interactions clearly and accurately in internal systems and call logs
  • Transfer calls to appropriate departments or specialists as needed to support resolution
  • Maintain required performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and attendance standards
  • Follow established procedures while ensuring compliance with program and service guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support continuous service improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a call center or client-facing environment
  • Prior Medicaid or healthcare-related experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes in a structured environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining individual performance targets
  • Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment
