Accountabilities
  • Establish and maintain customer master data, including address codes, account changes, deletions, payment terms, tax information, tax-exempt status, credit card details, and banking information, while following established procedures and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Investigate and maintain customer licensing and financial responsibility information, contacting customers when necessary to update state, DEA, veterinary, registration, and other required documentation.
  • Provide responsive first-line customer support through phone, email, and Salesforce, delivering efficient, personalized, solution-oriented service.
  • Manage multiple operational requests in a high-volume environment, including daily inquiries, SAP audit checks, licensing activities, payment terms, and other customer master data processes.
  • Ensure controlled-substance order activities comply with applicable DEA requirements and release DEA or conditionally licensed state hold orders only after all requirements have been satisfied and documented.
  • Support customer master data audits and help maintain operational guides, documentation, and procedures covering ECC and GTS requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and recommend, investigate, design, and implement operational solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Document and communicate business process changes to relevant stakeholders and vendors.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving system integrations, acquisitions, business transformation, and direct and indirect customer operations.
  • Collaborate with technology teams on customer master data tool enhancements, including testing, user acceptance testing, fixes, SAP enhancements, and validation of mass data uploads.
  • Participate in meetings and operational reviews to address pending enhancements, data quality issues, and process requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, accountability, and customer-focused behaviors while supporting broader operational priorities.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a data-intensive, regulated, or operational environment.
  • Knowledge or experience with SAP order-to-cash functionality is preferred, along with exposure to audit support and data validation activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as experience with phone systems and internet-based applications; Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret, maintain, and communicate customer master data and related information across internal and external systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain customer master data information clearly to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering efficient, enthusiastic, and solution-driven service.
  • Ability to work the required schedule of approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to work between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM EST as business needs require.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $54,000–$78,000 annually, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
  • Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive benefits designed to support physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
  • Healthcare and insurance benefits available from day one.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching and profit-sharing contributions.
  • Four weeks of vacation.
  • Opportunities to develop professionally while contributing to process improvement, technology initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborative and high-performing work environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Remote work arrangement in the United States.
