This role is ideal for a strategic litigator who understands complex financial evidence, forensic accounting issues, and high-stakes commercial disputes involving misrepresentation of company value, asset inflation, earnings manipulation, or fraudulent financial reporting.

About the Role

You will represent clients in sophisticated commercial disputes involving:

• Business valuation litigation
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Buy-sell agreement conflicts
• Fraudulent financial reporting claims
• Valuation misrepresentation and securities-related disputes
• Forensic accounting and expert-driven litigation

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and arguing dispositive motions
• Managing complex discovery and financial document analysis
• Working closely with valuation experts and forensic accountants
• Conducting depositions of financial officers and expert witnesses
• Preparing cases for arbitration or trial
• Negotiating high-value settlements where appropriate

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing with New Jersey Bar
• Experience in complex commercial litigation
• Background in corporate valuation disputes or financial fraud litigation preferred
• Ability to interpret financial statements and valuation reports
• Experience working with expert witnesses
• Strong motion practice and courtroom advocacy skills
• Strategic thinker comfortable with high-value disputes
